POSDATA Releases Asset Management Software

POSDATA, a software developer and systems integrator of mobile data collection solutions, has announced the release and installation of their new Asset Management software. The new software provides organizations with a comprehensive solution for managing and tracking high dollar and/or circulating assets. In addition, a specific version of the software, Tool and Equipment Management, is being targeted to Construction and other companies that are responsible for maximizing the productivity of tool operations. The new software complements the company’s existing PowerTrack mobile solution for tracking labor, material and equipment usage and other field data.

Hunter Roberts Construction Group is using the software to manage assets ranging from IT equipment to tools. According to Jason Burns, Vice President, Technology,

The new Asset Management and Tool and Equipment Management applications are enterprise-class applications that feature comprehensive search, asset detail lookups, asset movements and assignments to individuals through a check-out /check-in process. Mobile handheld devices, PC workstations, barcode labeling, and scanning are fully supported.
