POSDATA's Depot Service is best for products and peripherals that can be easily de-installed and installed. It is designed for products that can be replaced on a next business day basis, rather than needing to be replaced or repaired within hours.
Depot maintenance is the most cost-effective and efficient way to keep your equipment up and running. We offer several different program options depending on your turn-around time requirements and budget.
POSDATA’s sophisticated depot program includes problem reporting, replacement shipping, repair, and spares/pool planning and maintenance. Two types of depot maintenance are available: Standard Return & Repair, and Advanced Exchange. With Advanced Exchange, you receive a replacement for a failed unit by the next business day.
With three strategically located facilities, equipment repair is never far away and shipping options are flexible. POSDATA
services units post-warranty, as well as providing warranty administration for units still under the manufacturer’s warranty. From straight depot service through hybrid depot/on-site programs, we can provide a program that fits your business needs.
One call to our service center sends a replacement out immediately. Upon receipt, you simply place the defective unit in the same shipping container for return and repair. We repair the item and place it in your inventory pool; ready for the next time you need it.

Preservation
Preservation services include reconditioning and redeployment. We receive your equipment, evaluate it for defects, do a surface cleaning, and then test it. We can do repairs, too. Preservation services can extend the life of your equipment and reduce downtime.
Refurbishment
One step beyond preservation, refurbishment means we restore your equipment to “like new” condition. Our redeployment experts deep surface clean the units, repaint them, replace worn parts, apply required or recommended engineering modifications and test the units.
Upgrades
When you have many sites, a large number of assets, or don’t want to hassle with applying hardware or software upgrades, let us do it for you at our redeployment center.
