Call Center PCI Document for Payments Data Security is Issued

POSDATA is constantly checking out news related to the PCI Security Standards Council and any documents that may interest our customers.  One such document was released on March 18th concerning data security standards at call centers.  The main purpose of this document is to define the standards to be used when taking card information over the phone either in a recorded environment or live.  I know that most of us take orders over the phone.  Like the merchants we serve, we are also governed by the PCI rules when it comes to the security of payment card data.

Take a moment to review this document and make sure that you are compliant.
