Verizon Business to use POSDATA to service Texas hunting and fishing licensing equipmentApril 11, 2006POSDATA and Verizon Business announce that POSDATA will provide repair, refurbishment and distribution services for Verizon Business Systems in support of the State of Texas Department of Fish and Wildlife Hunting and Fishing License Sales System. Under the agreement, point of sale devices and license printers will be repaired and refurbished in POSDATA's Louisville, Kentucky facility. According to Anne Reinbach, senior project manager, support services for Verizon Business, “POSDATA was chosen to provide our hardware support services for this project because they provide the most value for the price. The transition was seamless and their service has exceeded expectations.” POSDATA's Vice President of Service Operations Gerry Knight says POSDATA's 33 years in business gives the company the know-how to handle large projects like the one for Verizon Business. “We have the expertise to do accurate repair and quick return for all kinds of point of sale devices and printers,” Knight explains. “Our focus is keeping our clients' equipment in service so their businesses can continue to operate smoothly.” Verizon Business's agreement with POSDATA runs through August 2008.
